Karmozijn de Sonnaville stoofpeer is een kruising tussen Conference, het bloedpeertje, en de kreeftpeer. Het vruchtvlees is roodkleurig en licht zuur. Geschikt als stoofpeer maar behoeft suiker. Kookt prachtig Karmozijn rood en is ook geschikt bij het eten van wild. Ook zeer geschikt voor het maken van perenjam.
